A few weeks ago, Rich and Kevin got up at 5 am and drove over an hour to stand in a freezing cold line in order to obtain permits to cut our own Christmas trees. This last weekend we went up to the Uintahs to get them.

Wow! Ya'll ARE adventurous! I don't believe this will ever fall on our schedule of things to do as right after the chopping of the tree would immediately be followed by a trip to the ER. Great job picking and decorating the tree!

Love the tree! We are trying to figure out how to extract the fresh pine sent from our WalMart fake tree! At least it requires no watering!
Your tree looks gorgeous. We will definitely have to make it a tradition :)
